Copper Fold Formed Earrings

John S. Brana's handmade copper jewelry collection includes an array of fold-formed copper pieces, which are perfect for a sleek, sophisticated style or a more casual, bohemian chic appearance.

Fold-forming is a metalworking technique that is used to create dramatic and distinctive three-dimensional forms. Fold-forming is a time-consuming process that involves shaping the metal by hand. Then, the copper is subjected to a forging process and re-shaped again. This process continues until the desired shape is achieved.

An award-winning coppersmith, John S. Brana's copper earrings feature a number of designs that are inspired by nature. The collection features shapes that are reminiscent of leaves, flowers, feathers and even lily pads!

The fold-formed earrings in John S. Brana's handmade jewelry collection aren't just available in typical copper color. Brana uses a finishing process called patination. A coating is applied to the metal to spur an accelerated patina formation process. This creates a finish in many different colors, including blue and green. All of Brana's copper earrings are coated with a durable clear lacquer to preserve the color and shine for many years to come!
