Garnet Jewelry
Garnet is a powerfully energizing and regenerating stone and compliments beautifully the rich red tones of copper. Almandine, the most common garnet, is an iron silcate. The name comes from Alabanda (now Araphisar) Turkey, where it has been cut since antiquity. It is usually included or semiopaque and the inclusions take the form of black mineral clusters. Almandine Garnets are quite common and mined throughout the world.
