Embossed Copper Jewelry
John S. Brana's handmade copper jewelry collections feature a wide selection of embossed copper pieces, including earrings and scarf rings.
Embossing is a technique that's used to create indentations which form a textured pattern in sheets of copper, which are then formed in to gentle curves.
John S. Brana's embossed jewelry collection features round forms, with gentle curves that are accented with embossed patterns such as honeycomb, bubbles, triangles and even a gentle feather-like pattern.
Each pattern is hand-carved onto an embossing pattern, which is then pressed into the copper to create the textured embossed designs. In addition, each piece of jewelry is coated with an anti-tarnishing coating, so your handmade copper jewelry will maintain its color and shine for years to come.
Embossed copper can also be formed using texture hammers. Embossing can also be achieved in unique, complex designs that are drawn onto the metal, and then embossed using a freehand method that entails using a hammer to tap a small metalworking stylus.
